Recommendations for video
- The most crucial thing in a video is sound. It should be loud and clear.
- Every video should start with brief introduction of the next approximate pattern “Hi! I’m Richard and I’m a native English speaker from the US. The video is made exclusively for Native English Video Dictionary”
- Video should last about 5 minutes
- When you add a video make sure you fill out all information such as word forms, synonyms/antonyms used in a video etc.
Recommendations for words/phrases explaining

- Try to keep it simple, so pre-intermediate level learners could understand you
- Try to give all round explanation of the word
- Give at least three different comprehensive examples where the word can be used in a sentence
- Give at least three synonyms of the word (if possible)
- Give at least three antonyms of the word (if possible)
- Make sure you list all the forms of the word such as noun, verb, adverb etc. Just list them.
- Provide some famous expressions where the word is used if any
- If the word’s got a lot of meanings make sure you cover at least the most widespread.
